What is InTankFITT®?

InTankFITT® is filterless and uses the Bulk Chemical (BC) version of InTank, dosing active substance and neutralizer from tanks on board. Specifically designed to meet the requirements of smaller commercial vessels InTankFITT® brings all of the operational and compliance benefits of InTank® in a very small footprint.

How does the InTankFITT® work?

  • Despite its 0.5m2 footprint FITT® provides all of the same robust treatment of the full-size InTank® system. Still, filterless FITT® is an incredibly low capex option and can be seamlessly installed into the most confined of onboard environments.
  • FITT® integrates the neutralizer tank on to the FITT® skid.
  • The Amperometric TRO sensor provides solid state TRO monitoring contributing to the small footprint.
  • Injection pumps, injection quill and a circulation spool are mounted on the skid.
  • The compact control panel is also mounted on the skid – with remote options being available as well.

InTankFITT® Module Applications

InTankFITT® is suitable for vessels up to 50,000 DWT and is the smallest and most affordable in the world. FITT® competes very favorably in this segment.

Below 20,000 DWT InTankFITT® is a compact option for bulkers, general cargo vessels and MPV’s but FITT®’s very small filterless footprint best serves the PSV / OSV type vessel, where mechanical space and port operations are at a premium.

InTankFITT® redefines ballast water treatment solutions, offering space-saving, high performance options across various vessel sizes and
applications. InTank®’s flexibility provides treatment compliance, however long the vessel has been docked or inactive.
